How to get from TV 2.0 to TV 3.0

The SBTVD Forum has selected and adopted the Technicolor HDR Technology and the
MPEG-audio system for inclusion in the ISDB-Tb (“TV 2.5”), to enhance TV transmission in
Brazil using HDR images and immersive and personalized sound. These latest-generation
audio and video technologies are the most advanced solutions for broadcast and
streaming and provide the base for a seamless transition from TV 2.0 to TV 3.0 in Brazil.
Transmission industry leaders ATEME, Cobalt, Fraunhofer IIS, Interdigital, Jünger, Philips,
Technicolor and Telos Alliance have joined forces to offer a series of content about the
solutions available for implementing next-generation audio and video technologies, as
well as the latest trends in the transmission industry
